When you listen to Christians gush on about the love and mercy of Jehovah, you would think that this god was only interested in showing mercy and love to the peoples of the earth. His people would be tolerant, smart and merciful bringing his love to the rest of the world so that they might know this loving god. They, with the help of their loving, merciful god, would approach other cultures enthusiastically trying to convert their fellow human so that they too would come to know the loving Jehovah. | ![]() |
This couldn't be further from the truth as explained by the Old Testament. The vicious, blood-thirsty monster of the Torah is a tribal war god commanding massacres and atrocities that would make Osama Bin-Ladin gasp in disbelief! Jehovah is thoroughly unconcerned about the lives of anything that is not Isreali viewing gentiles as less than animals to be slaughtered and enslaved without a second thought. This is the way Muslim terrorists view nonMuslims and it is no less evil. A real, creator god would care about his whole creation since these are all his children and all his responsibility. Jehovah, on the other hand, behaves like a serial killer in a daycare, choosing one favorite child and arming it to murder all the other children.
Christians, Jews, I challenge you to read these verses then take the worst demon from the worst mythology and place it in Jehovah's stead. How could it possibly be any more evil than this monster? How can you knowingly worship this demon-god knowing that your ancestors would've had their children killed and property stolen by these rampaging, genocidal seperatists!
Numbers 31:7-18
(Human savagery is NOTHING compared to the blood-thirst and savagery of this monster god! Upset that these generals show human compassion, this creature demands the massacre of all women and children as well as the enslavement of the virginal girls. What possible evil can Satan claim compared to this monster?)
7 They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. 8 All five of the Midianite kings - Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba - died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. 9 Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. 10 They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. 11 After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, 12 they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho. 13 Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. 14 But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. 15 "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded. 16 "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people. 17 Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. 18 Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves
Deuteronomy 2:30-36
(God himself makes certain that the Israelis will massacre the entire civilization including women and children and then plunder the conquered cities of their belongings.)
30 But King Sihon refused to allow you to pass through, because the LORD your God made Sihon stubborn and defiant so he could help you defeat them, as he has now done. 31 "Then the LORD said to me, 'Look, I have begun to hand King Sihon and his land over to you. Begin now to conquer and occupy his land.' 32 Then King Sihon declared war on us and mobilized his forces at Jahaz. 33 But the LORD our God handed him over to us, and we crushed him, his sons, and all his people. 34 We conquered all his towns and completely destroyed everyone - men, women, and children. Not a single person was spared. 35 We took all the livestock as plunder for ourselves, along with anything of value from the towns we ransacked. 36 "The LORD our God helped us conquer Aroer on the edge of the Arnon Gorge, the town in the gorge, and the whole area as far as Gilead. No town had walls too strong for us.
Deuteronomy 3:1-7
(Israel invades someone else's land. They cheerfully massacre the men, women and childen and steal their possessions.)
1 "Next we headed for the land of Bashan, where King Og and his army attacked us at Edrei. 2 But the LORD told me, 'Do not be afraid of him, for I have given you victory over Og and his army, giving you his entire land. Treat him just as you treated King Sihon of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon.' 3 So the LORD our God handed King Og and all his people over to us, and we killed them all. 4 We conquered all sixty of his towns, the entire Argob region in his kingdom of Bashan. 5 These were all fortified cities with high walls and barred gates. We also took many unwalled villages at the same time. 6 We completely destroyed the kingdom of Bashan, just as we had destroyed King Sihon of Heshbon. We destroyed* all the people in every town we conquered - men, women, and children alike. 7 But we kept all the livestock for ourselves and took plunder from all the towns.
Deuteronomy 6:10-11
(The Lord your God will let you steal land from its rightful owners. He'll have you murder the inhabitants and steal the hard work of generations. Satan's evil is NOTHING in comparison.)
10 "The LORD your God will soon bring you into the land he swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a land filled with large, prosperous cities that you did not build. 11 The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant.
Deuteronomy 7:1-4, 16
(This god is so weak and pathetic that even the smallest persuasion will send his people running to other gods. To prevent this Jehovah demands that Israel not live peacefully with other cultures and civilizations - instead it is commanded to become a hateful, violent, destructive, separatist culture dealing with other civilizations with the edge of the sword. Surely then it would become the ultimate civilization - instead Israel remains a pathetic below-average civilization that develops nothing of any importance.)
1 "When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are about to enter and occupy, he will clear away many nations ahead of you: the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. These seven nations are all more powerful than you. 2 When the LORD your God hands these nations over to you and you conquer them, you must completely destroy them. Make no treaties with them and show them no mercy. 3 Do not intermarry with them, and don't let your daughters and sons marry their sons and daughters. 4 They will lead your young people away from me to worship other gods. Then the anger of the LORD will burn against you, and he will destroy you.
16 "You must destroy all the nations the LORD your God hands over to you. Show them no mercy and do not worship their gods. If you do, they will trap you.
Deuteronomy 20:10-11
(If you're going to ride up and attack a town and they surrender then you may enslave the people of the town.)
10 "As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. 11 If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor.
Deuteronomy 20:12-14
(If they refuse to surrender then just kill all the men and ransack the town.)
12 But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. 13 When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. 14 But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.
Deuteronomy 20:15-16
(Unless it's a neighboring nation... then go ahead and kill the women and children too. At least the infants are having their brains bashed in by soldiers of "The God of Love".)
15 But these instructions apply only to distant towns, not to the towns of nations nearby. 16 "As for the towns of the nations the LORD your God is giving you as a special possession, destroy every living thing in them.
Deuteronomy 21:10-14
(Go ahead, force a captive to marry you. If you lose interest in her, just kick her to the curb.)
10 "Suppose you go to war against your enemies and the LORD your God hands them over to you and you take captives. 11 And suppose you see among the captives a beautiful woman, and you are attracted to her and want to marry her. 12 If this happens, you may take her to your home, where she must shave her head, cut her fingernails, 13 and change all her clothes. Then she must remain in your home for a full month, mourning for her father and mother. After that you may marry her. 14 But if you marry her and then decide you do not like her, you must let her go free. You may not sell her or treat her as a slave, for you have humiliated her.
Deuteronomy 13:6-11
(You've murdered all these neighboring civilizations, maybe you can relax now... No, if even a family member comes to you with a different theology, YOU are to kill him/her! Claim to be a Jew/Christion? I'd better be finding Mormon corpses in your closet!)
6“If your brother, your mother’s son, or your son or daughter, or the wife you cherish, or your friend who is as your own soul, entice you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods’ (whom neither you nor your fathers have known, 7of the gods of the peoples who are around you, near you or far from you, from one end of the earth to the other end), 8you shall not yield to him or listen to him; and your eye shall not pity him, nor shall you spare or conceal him. 9“But you shall surely kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10“So you shall stone him to death because he has sought to seduce you from the LORD your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 11“Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and will never again do such a wicked thing among you.
Deuteronomy 13:12-18
(Okay, surrounding nations dead, skeptical family members slaughtered... SURELY you have time to rest... not yet! If you hear rumors that a city may be looking at other religions, you are to check it out and if you're reasonably sure - KILL EVERYONE IN THE TOWN)
12“If you hear in one of your cities, which the LORD your God is giving you to live in, anyone saying that 13some worthless men have gone out from among you and have seduced the inhabitants of their city, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other gods’ (whom you have not known), 14then you shall investigate and search out and inquire thoroughly. If it is true and the matter established that this abomination has been done among you, 15you shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying it and all that is in it and its cattle with the edge of the sword. 16“Then you shall gather all its booty into the middle of its open square and burn the city and all its booty with fire as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God; and it shall be a ruin forever. It shall never be rebuilt. 17“Nothing from that which is put under the ban shall cling to your hand, in order that the LORD may turn from His burning anger and show mercy to you, and have compassion on you and make you increase, just as He has sworn to your fathers, 18if you will listen to the voice of the LORD your God, keeping all His commandments which I am commanding you today, and doing what is right in the sight of the LORD your God.
